Hey, I’m Merel!

All of the creations you see here are handcrafted by me. My love for crafting has been there all my life: I have always been busy trying out all sorts of hobbies and loved them all.

Through all highs and lows I have found that making things by hand is incredibly important to me. It forces me to slow down, clear my mind and it fuels my creativity even more. Working on designs that bring other people joy too is my passion and I am so thankful for where I am now.

Blackbird Studios is my way of taking up space, daring to do what I love and to share my sparkle with the world. I hope my creations brighten up your day : )
